2. Run the event in an increasingly environmentally responsible manner.
We focus on:
- Creating less waste
- Re-using the event carpet.
- Using biodegradable lanyards.
- Using LED lighting throughout the show.
- Reducing paper waste by using a mobile app and conducting surveys online.
- Considering sustainability credentials of the items sourced for the event.
3. Run the event in a socially responsible manner
We focus on:
- Doing business safely and ethically.
- Considering wellbeing and accessibility.
- Creating a positive impact on our host cities.
- Measuring our impacts.

We are working with exhibitors, event partners and attendees to make MEOS GEO 2025 a sustainable event. As part of this plan, we have developed suggestions and tips for building a sustainable energy event.
