Leading the development of the MEOS GEO 2027 Technical Conference Programme 

The MEOS GEO 2027 Technical Programme Committee is responsible for the development of the conference programme, bringing together technical experts and industry practitioners from across the upstream oil, gas and geoscience sectors.Through the review and evaluation process, committee members help ensure the programme reflects technical excellence, industry relevance and a broad range of perspectives, creating valuable learning opportunities for conference participants.

What does the Technical Programme Committee do?

The Technical Programme Committee contributes to the development of both the Strategic and Technical Conference programmes, helping ensure MEOS GEO reflects the expertise, perspectives and priorities of the upstream industry.Through content development, speaker selection and technical review, the committee plays a key role in creating a conference experience that delivers value for delegates across disciplines and career stages.

Content evaluation

Reviewing proposal submissions and assessing their technical merit, relevance and potential value to attendees.

Programme development

Helping shape a balanced conference programme across a range of technical disciplines and strategic topics.

Ensuring technical integrity

Supporting a programme grounded in expertise, practical application and industry experience.

Promoting knowledge sharing

Encouraging the exchange of ideas, research, case studies and lessons learned from across the sector.

From proposal to presentation

The Technical Programme Committee leads the process that transforms submitted ideas, research and case studies into conference content.

Authors submit technical proposals through the Call for Proposals process.

Committee members evaluate submissions against established review criteria.

Chosen submissions are incorporated into the conference programme and authors are requested to attend MEOS GEO 2027 to present their research. 

Recommended submissions will have the chance to be published in leading industry special journals.

Knowledge, expertise and practical experience are shared in-person, with the global MEOS GEO 2027 audience.

Upon submission and acceptance of an abstract to the MEOS GEO 2027 Technical Programme, you are automatically entered into a chance to win one of the Technical Programme Awards, in which the top 3 candidates in the following categories will be rewarded:
