Programme & content
MEOS GEO features: Strategic sessions: Focused on leadership perspectives, regional priorities, technology, investment and collaboration. Technical sessions: Peer‑reviewed presentations and discussions covering exploration, subsurface, drilling, production, CCUS and emerging technologies. Full programme details are released in phases as the event approaches.

Yes. Strategic and technical sessions may run in parallel to allow delegates to choose content most relevant to their interests and professional focus.
Yes. Technical content at MEOS GEO is developed through a structured peer‑review process with the support of The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), The American Association of Petroleum Geoscientists (AAPG), The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) to ensure quality, relevance and scientific credibility.

Yes. Different delegate pass types will be available, depending on role and eligibility. Full details, including what is included with each pass, will be shared when registration opens.
Students are welcome to attend MEOS GEO. Information on student eligibility, registration requirements and access will be provided as part of the registration details.
Advance registration is strongly recommended to avoid queues during event days. However, on-site registration will be available.

MEOS GEO is hosted in Bahrain and will take place at Exhibition World Bahrain from 6-8 April 2027.

Speakers, papers & participation
Yes. MEOS GEO invites technical paper submissions as part of its Technical Sessions programme. Submission guidelines and timelines are always shared via the Call for Papers section of this website. The Conference programme is currently under development. Once confirmed, a Call for Papers section will be created on this site.
Submissions are reviewed through a peer‑review process by the MEOS GEO Technical Committee, to ensure technical quality, relevance and alignment with the conference themes. More information on the Technical Committee will be published soon.
Strategic Sessions are curated by the conference organisers. Speaker participation is by invitation and thematic alignment.
